‘Yellowstone’ Set to Premiere on CBS This Autumn

As the entertainment industry grapples with strikes and the ensuing turmoil, CBS is taking strategic measures to ensure a strong fall lineup. The SAG-AFTRA strike has had a profound impact, prompting CBS to adjust its TV schedule. To fill the void left by delayed shows, CBS has acquired popular series from Paramount Network, including the highly acclaimed Yellowstone. This hit Western series, currently airing its final season, will now premiere on CBS, with edited versions to comply with broadcast TV standards. CBS will air Yellowstone on Sunday nights, followed by subsequent episodes at 9 p.m. on NFL double-header nights.

Yellowstone is not the only show making its way to CBS. SEAL Team, which originally premiered on CBS before moving to Paramount, will also join the network. This series offers a glimpse into the lives of elite special operations members of the United States Navy. Additionally, CBS will air FBI True, a show that explores the challenges and risks law enforcement officers face in their work.

In a unique programming decision, CBS will combine reruns of the US comedy series Ghosts with episodes of the original UK version that inspired it. Viewers can enjoy back-to-back episodes of the UK Ghosts on Thursdays, following a repeat of the US version.

CBS’ revamped fall schedule is not short on unscripted content either, with shows like Loteria Loca, Raid The Cage, Survivor, and The Amazing Race making the lineup.
