Yahoo Launches Its Own Unlimited Data Plan For $40 Per Month

In the last few years, Yahoo has loosed its popularity on the Internet. However, the company is best possible way to get back to the track where it wanted to be. Now, the company is expanding into mobile business with its Yahoo Mobile phone service. The company is touted to offer unlimited texts, calls and 4G data, for the flat fee of $40 a month.

This phone service will use Verizon’s network and will comes with a usual unlimited plan. During high congestion, it will result in a slower connection. This service comes with single permitted tethered device at a time with a limitaion of 5Mbits. Regular download speeds will range between 5-12 Mbps, with upload speeds of around 2-5 Mbps which isn’t that high but reasonable.

Most probably, you need to have a Yahoo account to run the plan, through which you can access the Yahoo Mobile app to manage your account and payments. It does come with a free Yahoo Mail pro subscription though, which includes 1,000GB of inbox storage. And, finally, you can opt to use the plan with your existing device, or get a new mobile.

As of now, the plan seems to be quite good which is offering unlimited data, calls, and messages at a reasonable price. It will help the company to establish themselves in the telecommunication field.
