Xiaomi rolls out Android 11 update to Redmi Note 9 Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is getting Android 11 update in India. It brings MIUI version 12.0.1.0.RJWINXM to the handset and is 2.3GB in size. It is being rolled out as an OTA update and is initially available for select users only. The rollout was first reported by the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone users via posts on microblogging site Twitter.
Those interested can also check the update manually on their device. To do so, head to the Settings app and tap on About phone. Being based on Android 11, the firmware will bring the latest privacy and security features to the Redmi Note 9 Pro phone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro: Specs
The smartphone has a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor paired with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The handset offers up to 128GB storage capacity which can be expanded further using a micro SD card. It comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999.
The smartphone runs on the company’s own MIUI based on the latest Android 10 operating system. On the camera front, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro boasts of a 64MP primary lens at the back with an 8MP wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone offers a 32MP in-display camera at the front.
The handset is backed by a 5020mAh battery with an 18watt fast charger. Redmi Note 9 Pro is offered in three colour options- Aurora Blue Glacier White and Interstellar Black.
