Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S goes for its First Sale in India: Price Specifications and More


Xiaomi India has recently launched its latest under-budget smartphone called the Redmi Note 7S. Later on, the company confirmed that the Redmi Note 7s will replace the Redmi Note 7 which was launched back in February, this year. Now, the phone is going on its first sale today in India via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home Stores. Redmi Note 7s brings the mid-range performer Snapdragon 660 SoC.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s Specifications

The all-new Redmi Note 7s sports a 6.3-inch FullHD+ display with a waterdrop notch at the front. The display is further protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which also covers the back panel finish.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 7s is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The device comes in two variants – 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Its storage can be further extended by an external MicroSD card.

In the camera department, Redmi Note 7s comes with a dual rear camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with PDAF, EIS, and AI portrait mode. While at the front, it houses a 13-megapixel selfie shooter which sits inside the dot notch.

Furthermore, Redmi 7 runs on MIUI 10 which is based on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box. Also, this phone is rich in connectivity options as it includes dual-SIM (hybrid) support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, this phone houses a huge 4,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s Price and Availability

As mentioned, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s will be available in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants. The base model i.e., 3GB + 32GB variant is priced at Rs 10,999 while the superior variant i.e., 4GB + 64GB variant will cost Rs 12,999.

Redmi Note 7s will be available in Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, Onyx Black color variants. Redmi Note 7s went for its first sale via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores starting from 12 pm (noon). It will also go on sale via Mi Studio and Xiaomi partner retail stores from May 24, Friday.
