Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Note 5 specs and design Leaked by Official Poster


Earlier this month, Xiaomi had already confirmed that it will be launching a new smartphone in India on Feb. 14. But there are lots of speculations and rumors are surfacing around, some sources are claiming that the Chinese manufacturer will be launching the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones that were unveiled in China in December 2017. While other believe that due to the huge popularity of Redmi Note 4 in India, Xiaomi will launch Redmi 5 Plus as Redmi Note 5 in India. Today, a latest report coming from Gizchina claims that company will be launching Redmi Note 5 Pro along with Redmi Note 5 in India on Feb. 14.

The Official Poster reveals the design and entire specifications of both the devices. While the Redmi Note 5 seems to be just a renamed Redmi 5 Plus but the Redmi Note 5 Pro offers a significant upgrade of design and configuration over  Redmi Note 4.

Redmi Note 5 Pro will runs on MIUI9 based on Android Nougat operating system, it sports a 5.99” FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels ) 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass on top and 450-nit maximum brightness. The smartphone is powered by the 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636SoC coupled with Adreno 506GPU. It offers 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB/64GB of internal storage respectively.

For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup, it includes a 12MP primary camera with 1.25um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture along with a 5MP secondary camera. It comes with LED flash support, Beautify 4.0 and 1080p videos at 30 fps. On the front, it has a 20MP Sony IMX376 shooter for selfies and video calls.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is fueled by a 4000mAh battery. It measures 185.5 x 75.45 x 8.05mm and weighs 180grams. The smartphone will be made available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue colour options. Pricing of both the devices is not yet known.
