Xiaomi Mi Play Launched with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC: Price, Specifications and more


Xiaomi has today launched its latest smartphone dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Pay, in China. The main highlight of the smartphone is water drop notch display. It is the first smartphone from Xiaomi to sports waterdrop notch screen.

The Xiaomi Mi Play comes with the price tag of Yuan 1,099($160/ Rs. 11,000 approx.) and will be available for pre-orders from December 25 in China. It comes in Blue and Red colour with gradient finish and Black colour option as well.

Xiaomi Mi Play Specifications.

The Xiaomi Mi Play runs on MIUI 10 based on Android  8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 5.84” full-HD+(1080×2280 pixels) 19:9 display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. It offers 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Xiaomi Mi Play comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor for depth sensing to capture portrait shots. On the front, it has an 8MP Camera for selfies and video calls.

The Xiaomi Mi Play is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS. It measures 147.76 x 71.89 x 7.8mm and the weight is 150 grams.
