Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s Banner with key Specs and Design surfaced on weibo


Xiaomi is expected to launch the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s smartphone at the MWC 2018. The smartphone has been leaked many times in the past, now, an official-looking banner with key specs and design have leaked on Chinese microblogging site web. The rendered image is very similar to what we have first reported in November last year.

From the leaked image we can see that MIX 2s made improvements on the basis of the previous generation, the overall design more become smoother, and the proportion of the screen is further improved. The smartphone sports an all screen design with iPhone X-like minimal bezels on all four sides. On the front, there is a selfie camera to the top-right corner of the device.

Talking about specifications, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s Banner also reveals the key specifications of the device, the Smartphone will sports a 5.9” FullView display with highly reduced bezels on all four sides. The smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It will offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, there could be another variant with 6GB RAM as well.

For photography, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s sports a dual rear camera setup with the combination of two 12MP Sony IMX363 sensors. The front-facing camera on the top right corner of the device could also be equipped with a facial recognition technology to unlock the device, there is also listed an AI technology onboard. Furthermore, the Mix 2S will also be the company’s first smartphone with the under-display fingerprint scanner.
