Xiaomi Mi A3 official renders and specs leaked online just before its official launch

Recently, Xiaomi has announced its two new smartphones from the CC9 series named as Xiaomi CC9 and Xiaomi CC9e. While both of these smartphones are getting ready for their launch, news of Xiaomi’s next-generation Android One phones also surfaced again. And this time, it is rumored that the Xiaomi CC9 and Xiaomi CC9e could be launched as Xiaomi Mi A3 and Xiaomi Mi A3 Lite respectively. Now, fresh renders and specs of Xiaomi Mi A3 leaked online.

The official renders and specs show that the Mi A3 will come in three color variants – black, blue, and white just like the Xiaomi CC9. The design of this phone is as same as that of Xiaomi CC9 which we have already seen before. As for the changes, the Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with a headphone jack that has been removed in the Mi A2.

This leak is surfaced online by Winfuture.de, who mentioned that the Mi A3 will come with a 6.0-inch 2240 x 1080 Super AMOLED Dot Drop display with a fingerprint scanner underneath. There will be a 32MP front-facing camera placed inside the notch.

On the back, the phone has three cameras – a 48MP f/1.79 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Coming to the processor, the Mi A3 differs from the CC9 as it swaps the Snapdragon 710 processor for the Snapdragon 665 chipset. However, it is not sure that the SD 710 will be replaced by SD 665 in this smartphone, so it is advised to take this information as a grain of salt.

The Mi A3 will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage and will also have support for storage expansion which Xiaomi once again removed from the Mi A2. This phone will be fuelled with 4000mAh battery with the support for fast charging, though the exact type isn’t mentioned. The phone will have a USB Type-C port and an IR blaster for controlling your electronic appliances. It will run Android 9 Pie out of the box.

The phone is scheduled to launch soon and as per the Winfuture reports, it will be available in Germany too. It should also be available in other parts of Europe including the UK.
