Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Listed on AliExpress Ahead of Official Launch


Xiaomi is scheduled to launch its latest mid-range smartphone – the Xiaomi Mi A2 along with Xiaomi A2 Lite on July 24 in China. Ahead of the official launch, the Xiaomi A2 Lite has been spotted on AliExpress listing.

The website has listed Global Version Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite in two memory configurations.  The 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage is listed at a price of tag of US$ 190 (Rs. 12988 approx.) while the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage is listed for US$ 210 (Rs.14355 approx.).

The design of Mi A2 Lite could be inspired from Redmi Note 5 Pro and iPhone X. The listing has used images of Redmi 6 Pro as the phone is yet to be launched officially and images were not available to the seller.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Specifications.

As per the Listing, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Android One) operating system and sports a 5.84” Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a display notch on top. The smartphone would be powered by a 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. As mentioned above, it offers 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

For photography, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP primary and a 5MP secondary sensor.  On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Both the shooters would be AI assisted.

The Xiaomi MI A2 is fuelled by a 4000 mAh battery that can provide a decent amount of backup for smooth running for a single day. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and micro-USB port. It measures 149.33 x 71.68bx 8.75mm.

The specs of the listed Mi A2 Lite could not be taken seriously as the mobile is yet to be launched which is scheduled on 24th July. Stay tuned with TechnoCodex for more updates.
