Xiaomi Mi 8 Retail Box Leaked Ahead of May 31 Launch
Xiaomi is scheduled to launch its latest flagship smartphone – the Xiaomi Mi 8 along with MIUI 10 and Mi Band3 on May 31. Now ahead of the launch, we have got the real-life photos of Xiaomi Mi 8 retail box revealing some key specifications of the smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Retail box confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It offers 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. There will be another variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The interesting feature on the box is the GPS, which is set to be a dual-GPS module, which has not been seen on smartphones before. We don’t have any idea why two GPS modules would be better than one but we’ll find out soon enough.
For photography, the Xiaomi Mi 8 confirmed to have dual rear camera setup out of which one sensor turns out to be a 20MP and the other one is not known yet. The box also shows that the Mi 8 will include a USB-C port/charger, a USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter which hints at a missing 3.5mm audio jack. From previous leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also expected to come with 3D face recognition technology and in-display fingerprint sensor. Stay tuned with TechnoCodex for more updates.
