Xiaomi Files New Patent For AR Glass Headset

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has filed a new patent for AR Glass headset that shows the complete design of the Glass headset. The AR headset has been seen sporting a futuristic neckband design for comfortable wearing.

The fresh images of the patent come from the courtesy of a leakster on Twitter @_the_tech_guy. The images of the patent have been shown from almost every possible angle giving us a clearer look at what Xiaomi is planning to bring in its AR glass headset.

The AR glass headset patent is shown to be coming with a neckband design which makes it comfortable to wear. The neckband features some control buttons such as ‘+’ and ’-’ button which might work to zoom images or for some other purpose. There is also a button at the tip of the band which might be the power button to switch on/off the AR glass.

The AR Glass is featuring an excellent glass design with a supportive curved belt attached to it to stick the glass to the head. At the back, it has a long strap that connects the glass with the neckband for controlling the functioning.

Apart from this, no further details is available regarding the AR glass from Xiaomi. So, talking about its credibility, just like most of the patent, there is no guarantee that this patent will turn out to be real. However, if it turns out to be real, this will be the first AR glass headset from Xiaomi. So, as for now, it is advised to take this patent as a grain of salt.
