XCOM 2 & Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is Now Free For A Limited Time

While people around the world are practicing social distancing, gamers are looking for new games to try. Thankfully, multiple publishers have offered demos and free releases in order to help players discover games that they might not have tried in the past. In the same move, XCOM2 and Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 are free for a limited time.

Today, 2K Games announced the trial version of XCOM 2 on Xbox One and Steam through the Give Back project on the 2K blog. As mentioned in the blog, XCOM 2 will be available for free from April 23 through April 29, 2020, on Xbox, and April 30, 2020, on Steam. During this period, gamers can download this title for free.

After the trial is finished, if players decide they want to buy the game. In case, if they buy the game, all the progress that they made during the trial period will be transferred over to the playthrough of the full game. So, they won’t lose anything with the upgrade.

On the other hand, the Xbox One version of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is currently free to download from Microsoft’s Japanese online storefront. This title will be available to download for free for a limited time between April 24 to May 10. It is currently available on Xbox Live US, Xbox Live Australia, and PSN Europe, and most likely elsewhere as time zones cascade around the globe.

So, if you are looking for free games to try, this is the best opportunity for you to grab these two games for free and play during this lockdown period.
