xbox: Xbox controller box hints at Series S console, claims report

Microsoft is yet to announce something like an additional console apart from the upcoming Xbox Series X but as per a report by Ars Technica, two next-gen Xbox controllers have leaked and they both have one thing in common: the mention of “Xbox Series X I S” in the description on the box.
The report claims that Microsoft does plan on launching a product with the name of Xbox Series S, and backs its claims on the basis of conversations with people who are in the know of the tech giant’s plans. As per the report, the Xbox Series S may be launched alongside the highly anticipated Xbox Series X.
The report adds that the leaked controller could be the console with the codename of “Lockhart” and priced lower than the Xbox Series X. The software is also expected to be a lighter one with maybe a “1080p-friendly version of XSX’s 4K resolution and “Velocity Architecture” aspirations”.
In other news, Microsoft’s Project xCloud is set to bring a total of 36 Xbox games to Android devices on September 15. Some of the titles included with the game streaming service are Ark: Survival Evolved, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves: Anniversary Edition, Minecraft Dungeons, Ryse: Son of Rome, The Outer Worlds, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, Yakuza Kiwami 2 and more.
