Xbox Console Streaming Starts from Today

Microsoft has finally made its much-awaited and the latest Console Streaming feature available for the Xbox One Testers. This new feature allows the Xbox One users to play all of their Xbox One Games on a mobile device.

Alongside this, the company is also testing out its much-talked Project xCloud streaming preview. This new Console Streaming feature uses your Xbox One Personal Account and it lets the users play any game they want from the library on their personal mobile phone.

Microsoft’s Project xCloud is currently in its initial stage and it lets you stream out a limited number of games to a different console. It has currently four games which you can play and test out. Interestingly, the new Console Streaming feature is compatible with Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

If we talk about the compatibility of this program, then it is currently supporting Android mobile platform only. The Android devices and tablets running on Android 6.0 or above version with Bluetooth 4.0 version can make use of this streaming feature offered by Microsoft with its new Project xCloud. It requires a Wireless Controller to take full control of the games.

Since we will stream out the games over the Internet, it requires a decent and high-speed Internet connection with at least 4.75 Mbps upstream bandwidth. According to experts, 9 Mbps of upstream bandwidth is quite good to stream out and play the games without any interruptions.

If you meet all the above-mentioned requirements and want to test out the streaming service released by Microsoft, then the first thing you need to do is downloading this app from Google Play Store. Go to the Play Store and search for Xbox Game Streaming, the preview version of the app is available to download for the compatible Android smartphones and tablets.

The app itself helps the users to set up things with their Xbox console. Step by step instructions will be provided by the app itself to the new users. So there will be no issues with the app and its functionality. We will get to see more compatible titles in the coming days.
