Xavier Prather won the Head of Household competition on Big Brother 23 that followed Brandon Frenchie’s eviction. Find out Xavier’s targets this week.
Xavier Prather won the third Head of Household competition on Big Brother 23, following Kyland Young’s reign as HOH and Brandon Frenchie’s eviction by a vote of 11-1. After Frenchie’s unbelievably chaotic HOH reign in week 1 and Kyland’s incredibly smooth HOH reign in week 2, there were many different directions that the game could follow. Alas, it all depended on which player won the third Head of Household competition of the season.
At this point in time, every single player on BB23 is a part of some alliance formation within the game. The Slaughterhouse has been weakened by Frenchie’s eviction, but new alliances are taking form in the house. For one, the Queens (Claire, Kyland, and Tiffany) and the Kings (Alyssa, Christian, Sarah Beth, and Xavier) got together with Derek Xiao to form the Royal Flush alliance. On the side, the Aces (Brent, Derek X, Hannah, and Whitney) formed the Mafia alliance with the Queens, as well as the Radicals alliance with the Kings.
Xavier has become the third HOH of Big Brother 23, which means that the entire Kings team (Alyssa, Christian, and Sarah Beth) have immunity for the week. The Kings have aligned themselves with many other players in the house, but their true loyalty is with the Queens team (Claire, Kyland, and Tiffany) and with Derek X. Together, those eight people are a part of the newly-formed Royal Flush alliance. The next target of the house is Brent Champagne, so that will likely be Xavier’s #1 target. Otherwise, X could use Britini D’Angelo as a pawn, or perhaps even Whitney Williams. Alas, it is clear that Xavier will want to follow the plan and will try to take out Brent this week… we just don’t know yet if he will want to backdoor Brent or if he’s going up as a nominee from the start.
Now, three houseguests will compete in the third Wildcard competition of BB23, which could grant immunity to one (or more) of them. From the Jokers team, Azah, Britini, and Derek F can all still play. From the Aces team, Derek X and Whitney can play next. From the Queens team, Claire Rehfuss and Tiffany Mitchell can play. A member of the Kings team has won both of the first two Wildcard comps (Christian and Sarah Beth), but they’re safe for the week and won’t be competing this time. Later in the week, there’ll also be the Power of Veto competition, which is another chance for the nominees to save themselves from the block.
With a new HOH in the house and so many new alliance formations up in the air, this will be another very interesting week of gameplay on Big Brother 23. Alas, the targeted players can still try to win safety from either the Wildcard comp or the Power of Veto comp, which could throw a wrench in the HOH’s main plan for the week.
