WRC 8: The Official Game is Coming on PC and Consoles this September

Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn announced that WRC 8 is returning back after two years of long time span. This title is again ready to rock the World of Racing Games.

WRC 8: The Official Game is set to release in September this year. It will be available on all the major platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and most surprisingly on Nintendo Switch. This will be the second Racing game series on Nintendo Switch after Mario Cart 8 Deluxe. So, that’s good news for all Switch users as they will get another racing game on their platform.

WRC 8 has many improvements which were suggested by the community and from feedbacks. WRC 8 comes with better Graphics, more technical routes, smoother pace notes, and a more comprehensive career mode. Moreover, the Steering and Physics have also been enhanced to offer real-world experience.

Here’s some more information about the game contents from the official Press Release Notes.

“ WRC 8 will also offer a selection of WRC 2 and Junior WRC drivers as well as a few historic models to be revealed very shortly. Talent and concentration will be needed to overcome more than 100 special stages taking place in 14 countries. Upgrade your car to unprecedented new levels of detail and develop your team in an in-depth and intense career mode. “

A new dynamic weather system has been developed to add random elements to the driving experience, but also to increase realism in the game. Managing the weather is a real challenge for the drivers: modified grip, car settings adjustments, tyre selection optimization, weather team relationship to ensure the best tips and information on the latest conditions. More than mere visual effects, climatic conditions become crucial, especially in the management of your career.”
