CD Projekt Red has released patch 4.03 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, bringing gameplay changes and bug fixes to PC and console versions of the game (with the exception of Switch). The PC version receives support for framerate upscaling technology, including ray-traced vegetation shadows, improved resolution and performance through machine learning, and fixes for crashing while loading on Direct11 version of the game on some AMD CPUs. Console players will see fixes for dark stripes or shadows on Geralt in the inventory screen on performance mode for PS5, as well as stuttering and freezing fixed and performance drop issues on next-gen consoles while using Witcher Senses in Beauclair and Novigrad.
