Why you have to take Back Up WhatsApp Data Before 12th November

If you are using the WhatsApp app and did not take back up of Whatsapp data in a year, then take it soon. Because due to the deal between Whatsapp and Google, Whatsapp has made this statement that it will automatically remove backup data from Google Drive storage.

Due to system changes coming in 2018, all this social media app will be removed. But soon after all WhatsApp data, chat, video, picture or audio message will be backed up without any Google Drive space.

Google and WhatsApp have agreed to a deal to back up their user accounts without using 15GB of free data space.

Instant Messaging Company has urged users to manually back up before 12 November 2018. According to Google’s recommendation, users have to resort to manual method to back up WhatsApp data.

You must have Google Drive setup in your device, only if you are able to take back up manually. First, go to Whatsapp Menu, Tap Settings, Chat, Chat Backup. Select the backup option and automatically all your data will be backed up.

How to take back up, restore WhatsApp data through Google Drive

Whatsapp users are provided with three options that help them back up their data on the messaging platform. Here you get two option for back up and that is Tap back up, back up from Google Drive or back up in presence of Wi-Fi, including videos.

Install the Whatsapp application on your device. After this, you see three points on the top right corner of this app, which you have to click. Now click on Settings> Chat> Chat backup options to take Whatsapp data backup.

If you are using a new phone, to restore your WhatsApp data to a new phone, you have to open the Whatsapp app. After verifying the phone number, complete your profile by giving other details. Now you have to tap the next option. Your Whatsapp app will ask you to restore your messages from a linked Google Drive account. You have to tap the Restore button and complete your process.
