WhatsApp Web got new Picture-in-Picture Feature


WhatsApp has finally rolled out Picture-in-Picture Mode for WhatsApp Web that supports all shared video link including links from Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Previously, WhatsApp has rolled out this feature in the last month, but at that time it only supports shared videos, but this time it supports all types of Shared videos links. This feature is exclusively available in the latest version of WhatsApp Web v0.3.2041.

According, to WABetainfo, this Picture-in-Picture feature is already rolled out in the latest version of WhatsApp Web and most probably users can use this feature. Please note, this feature is only available in the Web version of the WhatsApp, not in the desktop version of WhatsApp which you download from Microsoft Store.

This Picture-in-Picture feature allows users to watch videos from different popular platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebooks and many more just by tapping the thumbnail of that video. They can watch videos from the shared link without going to the official website of that link as a small window will open on the screen playing the video of that particular link. Remember, to make sure that this feature works for your shared link, paste the link of the video in the text bar and wait for few seconds till its thumbnail is generated. Then you can share that video with your contacts and they can watch it directly by tapping on it.

Also, the report says that you can also switch between different chats while playing your video, as they will not close until you close them. So, it’s a great feature for the WhatsApp Web. You can try out this feature now on your WhatsApp web. In case, this feature doesn’t work for you, try to clear your cache of your browser and restart it.
