WhatsApp for iPhone Updates comes with Call Waiting Support, Chat Screen Redesign, and More Features
WhatsApp for iPhone is getting a new update that brings a lot of new features. The latest version of WhatsApp for iPhone is 2.19.120 that brings some interesting features such as call waiting support, redesigned chat screen, and a new feature to the Braille keyboard. This is the second update of this month for WhatsApp for iPhone.
Earlier this month, WhatsApp rolled out new group privacy settings for Android and iPhone users both in a bid to restrict spam invites. Now, this new update of this month is specifically for iPhone users. iPhone users can head on to the App Store to update their WhatsApp to the latest version.
As mentioned above, the main highlight of this update is Call Waiting Support. With this feature, it enables users to receive a WhatsApp call, while they are already on another call. This will allow them to make a decision whether they want to accept the new call immediately or finish the current call and then attend the second call.
As of now, people don’t get a call-waiting notification while they are being busy on another call. However, the caller gets to know that the user he is trying to reach is busy on another call and request them to wait for some time. But with the arrival of this new feature, the receiver will also be notified for the second call coming on their phone.
Apart from this, the update also brings an updated chat screen design that makes it easier to quickly scan your messages. The update also packs the ability to quickly send your messages directly from the Braille keyboard when using VoiceOver mode.
The changelog also notified users of the rollout of Group Privacy Settings that was announced earlier this month. Now, with this update, WhatsApp users will have an option to opt-in for the Group Privacy Settings. So, if you haven’t updated your WhatsApp, do it now by downloading the latest version from App Store.
