whatsapp diwali stickers: WhatsApp rolls out Diwali 2020 stickers, how to get them on your Android phone

Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out animated stickers for Diwali which you can download and send to friends over WhatsApp. Note that only Android users can download the stickers directly. Apple iOS users can’t download third-party sticker packs on WhatsApp, they can, however, save any sticker received in a chat to their favourites.
To get the new stickers, you would need to update to the latest version of WhatsApp. Open a chat > click on the sticker icon (for iOS this is located on the right side of the text bar. For Android, the stickers icon is next to the GIF option). Next, tap the ‘plus’ icon and then simply select the packs you’d like to download. All sticker packs with a video icon by them, are animated sticker packs.
You can also create a personalised sticker pack on WhatsApp. WhatsApp provides sample apps and code for both Android and iOS, so you can simply drop in your sticker art and build an app with minimal development or coding experience.
To get third-party Diwali Sticker Packs on WhatsApp you need to open a chat > tap emoji > stickers. Search for Diwali WhatsApp stickers and install the sticker pack of your choice. A green checkmark will appear once the download is complete. Tap Back. Once done head back to your chat to send the stickers.
