WhatsApp Adds Contact Suggestions Support For iOS 13 Share Sheet

From the past few months, WhatsApp has been sending updates frequently to its Android and iOS apps. Recently, we have seen the long-awaited system-wide Dark Mode support for iOS. And now, the company has just rolled out a little update on its iOS app that puts your contacts from the messaging app into the share sheet suggestions on your iPhone and iPad for a smoother experience.

With this update, it becomes easy to share content directly with your contacts in WhatsApp either you are using it from the web, apps, or everywhere else. It enabled you to pull back your contacts easily using the share sheet on iOS.

This is not the first time that WhatsApp for iOS uses share sheet to share contact, this option was already there, but after this update, it will automatically give suggestions for WhatsApp contacts just like Apple’s Messages app. This will enhance the user experience on iOS.

Full release notes:

On iOS 13, your WhatsApp contacts will now appear as suggestions in the share sheet when you share content from another app.

To get this feature rolling out on your WhatsApp app on iOS, you need to download the latest release which is now available to download for free on App Store.
