Vivo has launched a new Z-series smartphone dubbed as Vivo Z1i in China. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 19:9 fullView display that offers 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and includes artificial intelligence (AI) backed smart beauty features. The company is also offering Jovi AI Assistant, AR stickers, and Face Wake feature to unlock the device. Further, the handset also comes with a dedicated game mode for an uninterrupted gaming experience.

The Vivo Z1i comes with the price tag of Yuan 1,898 ($285 / Rs. 19,600 approx. ). It will be made available for pre-orders via Vivo online store and will go on sale in the country starting July 7 in Black Gold and Hyun Red colour options.

Talking about the specifications, the Vivo Z1i runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 6.26” full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) 19:9 IPS display . The smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Vivo Z1i comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor with LED flash support. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and Face Wake feature to unlock the device.
The Vivo Z1i is fuelled by a 3260mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 154.81×75.03×7.89mm and weighs 149.3 grams.
