Vivo V15 Launched With Pop-Up Selfie Camera and MediaTek Helio P70 SoC: Price, Specifications and more


After launching the Vivo V15 Pro in India, Vivo has a now launched a lite version of the smartphone dubbed as Vivo V15, in  Malaysia and Thailand. The Vivo V15 looks similar to the higher-end model that was launched in India last week. The only difference is the traditional fingerprint sensor at the back, instead of an in-display fingerprint sensor and it is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC that’s available on the Pro-variant.

Vivo V15 price and Availability

The Vivo V15 announced at the price tag of THB 10,999 (Rs. 24,500 approx.), However, the availability of the phone is yet to be announced. It will be made available in in Topaz Blue and Glamour Red colour options.

Vivo V15 specifications

The Vivo V15 runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie operating system and sports a 6.53” full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 9.5:9 Ultra FullView display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It offers. 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Vivo V15 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that include 12MP f/1.78 sensor, along with 8MP f/2.2, and 5MP f/2.4 sensors. For selfies it sports a pop-up selfie camera with a 32-megapixel sensor and an f/2.0 lens.

The Vivo V15 is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with Dual-Engine fast charging technology support. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The smartphone measures 161.97x93x8.54mm and weighs 189.5 grams.
