Virtual Reality Game Revives the Canceled Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg Cage Match

A long-awaited showdown between tech titans Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg was thought to be just a Twitter feud, until now. Thanks to a new browser game, the cancelled cage fight can come to life in a virtual wrestling match.

The rivalry began on social media when Musk challenged Zuckerberg, who has a background in jiu-jitsu, to a cage fight. Musk declared on Twitter, “I’m up for a cage match if he is,” to which Zuckerberg responded through Instagram Stories, saying, “Send me location.”

Now, the developer Blue Wizard, known for the popular game WrestleBros, has released a 2D wrestling game called Zuck v Musk. This game allows players to choose between Musk and Zuckerberg and engage in an epic beatdown using classic wrestling moves such as piledrivers and flying elbows. The game, which can be accessed at zuckvmusk.com, was created by Jason Kapalka, the designer of Bejeweled and creative director of Plants vs Zombies.

The controls of Zuck v Musk are simple: position yourself with the arrow keys and pummel your opponent with punches by hammering the space bar. When your opponent is down, you can unleash a flurry of attacks or perform aerial moves by jumping in the air while attacking. There’s even the option to bounce off the ropes for some added flair.

Meta spokesperson Iska Saric confirmed that Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook and Meta, is eager for this unusual fight. Saric stated, “The story speaks for itself,” emphasizing that Zuckerberg was not joking when he accepted the challenge. In response, Musk tweeted a proposed location for the fight: “Vegas Octagon.”

However, the likelihood of the cage match actually occurring seems slim. Musk’s mother intervened and cancelled the fight, according to a tweet from Maye Musk.

In other news, Twitter is currently facing a £180 million lawsuit from the National Music Publishers Association, alleging copyright infringement of over 1,700 songs on Elon Musk’s social media platform. Twitter has yet to respond to the allegations.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has reportedly considered acquiring Bungie and SEGA to accelerate the popular Game Pass service.
