Users can edit Google Docs, Sheets and Slides within the Dropbox by now

About a year ago, Google and Dropbox have officially announced that they are partnering with each other to make their services more powerful. Well, the time has come and the services of both, Google and Dropbox are now integrated. Users can now edit their Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides within the Dropbox.

Starting from today itself, Dropbox Business Customers can participate in the program of Google Suite integration. This program is currently in its beta version, though you will get an idea about how you can make the most of this partnership by combining their services on one single platform.

This beta program lets the Dropbox Business Customers can work with the Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Docs within the Dropbox’s Window itself. Users don’t need to visit the Google’s official Google Docs or Sheet or Slides, once you share your documents and saved it on the Dropbox, you will be able to edit them within the Dropbox itself.

If you are using Microsoft Office’s services, they are providing kind of the same services for the users. Users of Microsoft Office can edit their Word, Powerpoint, Excel documents within the Dropbox’s Window. By now, the users of Google’s services will also be able to edit their documents within the Dropbox.

To make use of this integration, you just need to go to the Web view Window of the Dropbox. Click the create new file option from the same Window and you will be asked to choose from the Docs, Sheets and Slides. You will also be able to create a new Microsoft’s Document from the same Create New option within the Dropbox Window.

The changes that you have saved within the Dropbox Window is now Saved to Dropbox. The saved files will be there alongside the files you have previously saved in the Dropbox. You can edit and share the files created on Dropbox or saved on it anytime you want.

The shared files can be edited by other users on the Google Drive as well. This integration works well with both the sides and you don’t need to worry about using two separate platforms.
