Google added a few advanced features to the Google Assistant app exclusively for Pixel 4 owners. We have heard that the giant is working on the same app for other Pixel devices i.e. older Pixel devices. Starting from today, the updated Google Assistant app will be available to more countries.

The first edition of the updated Google Assistant app launched in English version i.e. in English language only. Google has extended the support for this new updated Google Assistant app. The company has updated their official support page and now made it available in more regions across the world.

According to Google’s support page, the updated Google Assistant app released in Canada, Australia, the UK, Singapore, and Ireland. The app will be updated with a brand-new UI with English language only. Initially, the updated UI will be available exclusively for Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL devices in these countries. The company has not revealed whether they want to make this app available for older devices or not.

You can now ask back to back questions to Google’s updated Google Assistant app. So you don’t have to stop in between the process. The updated UI makes the interface smoother.

Interpreter Mode is what everyone is looking for on an updated Google Assistant. This new mode translates your conversations in real-time. This new Interpreter Mode will work with more than 44 different languages. You can set out the translation language from the list and it will work accordingly for you from your mobile phone. Or you can even select this by commanding to Google Assistant with a command such as “Hey Google, help me speak Hindi”

Once you enabled this feature, the Assistant will start converting your command into the desired language and it will also speak it up loud so you can hear it as well.

The Interpreter Mode was exclusively available for Google’s Google Home Smart Speakers and displays. However, the same mode started rolling out to iOS and Android devices through an updated Google Assistant app starting from today.

The availability of the updated Google assistant app is yet to disclose by the company for more Android devices.
