Twitter Now Allows Users to Post iOS Live Photos as GIFs

Live Photos has been one of the best Apple’s signature camera options on iOS. However, when it comes to posting live photos on Twitter, it doesn’t make any sense as the posted live photos get converted into a static picture. But now, Twitter is finally allowing its users to post live photos as GIFs.

To post a live picture on Twitter, you just need an app to convert that live photo in a GIF. Once converted, you can share that newly created GIF on Twitter which will be actually your live photo. One great thing about posting GIFs on Twitter is that you don’t need any conversation to share GIFs, you can share them directly on the platform.

The feature is pretty easy to use, at least from the Twitter iOS app. When drafting a tweet, select a photo from your camera roll, then tap the “GIF” button in the lower-left corner of the photo in your tweet compose window.

Live Photos are really fun as they put life in the picture and make them more interesting to see. It let you express more from what you want to convey from the picture. So overall, this is really a good step taken by Twitter for iOS users.
