Twitter Begins Testing New Conversation Features

Twitter is becoming a more reliable platform for the people who want to discuss something on this micro-blogging platform. Twitter is now testing a new conversation feature to make it easier for users to follow and leave their comments.

The new conversation features spotted on Twitter’s web interface. You could easily see in the screenshot how beautifully this new conversation style managing the replies on a tweet. It will show you the main reply in a big window followed by a thin grey line with more replies option. If you want to explore the entire thread with a full conversation, then you need to select the more replies option and you will be able to go through the entire thread.

It is also called as a new conversation tree feature in terms of Twitter’s native users. This feature is being tested and is available for a limited number of users across the globe. The same feature is set to release in the next year.

Initially, this feature was seen in Twitter’s independent app Twittr. This app was in its beta platform and it lets users check out the conversation in a beautiful way i.e. conversation tree. Unlike the thread of replies, this conversation tree looks quite reliable as you could see the entire conversation and replies of the users on a particular tweet.

The aim behind coming up with such an interesting update is to make the conversation easier on the platform. Twitter is being used by millions of users across the globe and most of them put themselves in a conversation where they can discuss things or leave their replies.

Since the conversation tree shows off everything to you, you can easily pick the handle or the tweet from the conversation to see more replies on that particular tweet.

If you have been using Reddit’s forum page, then you might notice the same kind of conversation which is being tested by Twitter. You would get the same interface and replies section as Reddit once available. It is unclear when this feature rolled out for public, but we hope to see it very soon.
