Stay updated on this developing story as we will provide more information as it becomes available.

In September, 20th Century Studios will release A Haunting in Venice, a film based on Agatha Christie’s novel Hallowe’en Party. Starring Kenneth Branagh as the iconic detective Hercule Poirot, the movie delves into a spine-chilling murder mystery. The official trailer has just been unveiled, following the initial teaser a few months ago.

Set in post-World War II Venice, A Haunting in Venice takes Hercule Poirot on a mysterious adventure on All Hallow’s Eve. The renowned detective, having retired and living in isolation, reluctantly attends a haunted palace for a séance. However, the murder of one of the participants becomes the focal point, thrusting Poirot into a sinister world of secrets and shadows.

The trailer opens with a conversation between Poirot and Tina Fey’s character, discussing the credibility of psychics who often turn out to be frauds. Despite his skepticism, Poirot agrees to expose a psychic portrayed by Michelle Yeoh. However, during the séance, a terrifying event occurs, leading Poirot to question his beliefs. With eerie music, unsettling imagery of ghostly children, and a dark and foreboding setting, the trailer hints at a Poirot mystery that blends elements of horror with the detective’s trademark analytical approach.
