The latest expansion of Dragon Ball Super Card Game, Wild Resurgence, introduces the Xenoverse Demons from the Dark Empire storylines.
Bandai has officially released the new expansion for Dragon Ball Super Card Game. The initial hints suggested that the set would be titled “Zenkai Series – Resurgence,” but it was later confirmed as “Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence.” This expansion marks the fourth in the Zenkai Series and the 21st main series set for Dragon Ball Super Card Game. Notably, it includes the first God Rare card since September 2022’s Dawn of the Z-Legends set, featuring Bardock GDR. The set focuses on various story arcs, such as the Golden Frieza Saga from Dragon Ball Super, the Z-era movie Dead Zone with Garlic Jr., the Baby Saga from GT, and The Cell Games.
Today, we will reveal a selection of Demon Realm cards from the Black-colored section of Zenkai Series – Wild Resurgence. The Xenoverse content always takes center stage in the final section of these sets, and Wild Resurgence continues this tradition. However, it remains to be seen how long this trend will continue. The Demon Realm, first referenced by Dabura in the Majin Buu Saga and earlier pre-Z stories, plays a significant role in the Dragon Ball universe. Dabura, while serving as Babidi’s minion, was also the King of the Demon Realm. This sinister world was created by evil wizards like Demigra and Mechikabura. In Wild Resurgence, we venture into the Demon World, where the villains from this shadow realm become the main antagonists in their respective arcs. The Dark King Mechikabura himself, depicted on the card to the left, holds a prominent role.
