The New Generation Apple Watch Might Feature a Camera on the Strap

No doubts, Apple Watch is the most popular wearables on the market. The company has recently launched its fourth generation Apple Watch. Now, Apple files new patents of its wearables that could make everyone’s life much simpler. Yes, new Patents filed by Apple shows that the new Apple Watch could feature a Camera on the strap-end.

Apple’s Smartwatch is already offering LTE feature allowing users to make voice calls wirelessly without using a smartphone. Now, by integrating a camera on the Apple Wath, users may replace the iPhone with a new generation Apple Watch. This will be the biggest problem of Apple and for that reason, people are questioning Apple’s this move.

According to reports, this Camera of the Apple Watch may allow users to make Video Calls using FaceTime. Apart from FaceTime, users will also be able to use this Camera for taking photographs remotely without using an iPhone. The iPhone’s camera app can also use this integrated Apple Watch’s Camera to use as a remote ViewFinder.

A new patent of an upcoming Apple Watch published in the US Patent and Trademark Office on Tuesday has stated that the new Apple Watch’s Band will equip a Camera and other useful sensors on the band itself. Apple Watch’s body has got everything and in this case, if the company tries to add a new component, it will be even bulkier.

However, Apple is integrating the Camera on the Apple Watch Band. Previously, Apple has suggested that the Camera will be equipped beside the main screen of the Watch.

The patent design of the new Apple Watch showcases the Camera placement at the end of its band. The strap of the Camera will be adjustable one allowing users to adjust and change the point of the Camera for taking the perfect pictures. In a nutshell, if everything goes as listed in the Patents, the new Camera setup on Apple Watch will act as an independent camera. You will be able to change its direction and change its functionality as per your needs.
