A lot of new high-tech gadgets have been showcased in the IFA 2018 event, and this is where a lot of tech giants gather. In the said event, Asus made a surprising step as they revealed their newest and toughest laptop generations. The main highlight of their launch is the Asus ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 15 for the ZenBook series, and the Asus ZenBook Flip 13 and ZenBook Flip 15 for the ZenBook Flip series. Each of these had their overhauled appearance in terms of its design and the hardware specs, and the most surprising about these new generations is the latest Intel 8th Gen Intel Core Processor. Knowing these updates, we can expect a spectacular performance from these new generation laptops. Now, let us take a look at these releases.
Asus ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 15
These new releases are powered by Intel’s new “Whiskey Lake” Core i7-8565U and Core i5-8256U CPUs and the “frameless NanoEdge” display which is to be 94 percent screen to body ratio. They also equipped with an ultra-thin webcam with four element lens which ensures a clearer and more accurate capture. These models also share the same spec in terms of their connectivity options which supports USB-C and USB-A both the same speed at about 10Gbps.
Aside from the screen and connectivity, they also have a very comfortable keyboard with an Ergo Lift hinge mechanism which ensures a better and more productive way of typing. One more cool feature about these releases is the new Number Pad for the ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 14 (ZenBook 15 already has a physical Number Pad) which is thought to be only exclusive for Asus’ ZenBook series.

Asus ZenBook Flip 13 and ZenBook Flip 15
The new ZenBook Flip series shares almost the same common hardware specifications with the ZenBook Series (13, 14, 15), but we can see a little bit of difference in terms of its Ergo Lift feature, as for their name implies, these series are equipped with a 360 Ergo Lift feature which ensures a comfortable and flexible way of typing. These models are often referred as “2-in-1”, which can be a tablet, and laptop as you can flip it at a wide degree which enables you to use it for multiple purposes. Asus ZenBook Pro 14
The Asus ZenBook Pro 14 comes with a new ScreenPad. The highlight of the laptop is said to be its lightweight design. It is powered by up to the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor featuring integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi and up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Qdiscrete graphics. The laptop features an all-aluminium design and comes with an ErgoLift hinge. It sports a 14-inch NanoEdge full-HD display with ‘ultraslim’ bezels. Also, the display is Pantone Validated to ensure colour accuracy. The ZenBook Pro 14 features “fast face login” and built-in support for Windows Cortana and Amazon Alexa voice services.
