Following her monumental career comeback as Nicky Nichols in Netflix’s hit comedy series Orange is the New Black, Natasha Lyonne has skyrocketed back into Hollywood stardom. With her remarkable performance in Netflix’s Russian Doll and her prominent role in Peacock’s Poker Face, fans have speculated about the talented performer joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Fortunately, the New Yorker herself has revealed the one condition she would need to join the MCU.
During her conversation with fellow actresses on the THR Roundtable, Lyonne disclosed that she would be interested in joining the MCU only if Larry David could have his own Marvel movie. She even went on to pitch her and The Bear star Ayo Edebiri’s concept of David’s Marvel film, which would involve the two chasing down the SNL actor.

Considering Edebiri’s casting in Marvel’s Thunderbolts, the idea of Larry David receiving his own Marvel standalone film isn’t that far-fetched after all. Although this would be Lyonne’s first major role in the MCU, the 44-year-old actress had performed in Marvel waters previously, in the 2003 movie Blade: Trinity.
The possibility of Lyonne joining the MCU would be a dream come true, and adding Larry David would certainly make it feel like a cinematic paradise. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige should definitely take note of Lyonne’s condition and make it happen.
