Devolver Digital has announced today that Nomada Studio’ first game title called Gris, will be making its way to PC and Nintendo Switch on December 13th. Gris is an introspective, emotional, and watercolor painting-like platformer.
As we can see from the released trailer, the world of Gris is not much of an action, and instead of a wordy dialogue, the game is full of colors and music to bring your gaming experience into fantasy. The woman in the game’s story is named Gris, she loses her voice and will dive into an adventure to retrieve it while traveling into a dramatic and dreamlike scenery.
This game has a different approach regarding the protagonist as Gris can’t die. Even though Gris is not able to die, she will develop additional abilities as the game progresses and encounter trickier and more logical puzzles along the way. The tests are all about skills and critical thinking, so don’t expect to go smoothly as you want.
“Tying it all together is a sense of flow and movement that’s as graceful as the art itself,” said Martin, “and that plays just as big a part in invoking the lucid dream vibe that underpins Gris. This is a platform game that’s in love with the idea of flight, and the rush of free-falling.”
As we have mentioned earlier, the game will arrive on PC and Nintendo Switch on December 13th for about £13.49 on both platforms. Aside from those fantastic story line and game description, all of the further details remains unseen. So stay tuned with TechnoCodex and we will bring you all of its latest updates.
