The First Nokia Flagship Android phone will be Officially Announced on August 16th


Days after being extensively leaked online, Nokia’s first Android flagship smartphone is all set to launch. HMD Global started sending out press invites revealing that the handset. Nokia 8 will be unveiled on August 16th in London at 7:30 PM local time (12 AM IST).

For the past few weeks, the Nokia 8 has been constantly appearing online in various color options from Blue to Silver to the latest one Copper. Leak images also showing Zeiss logo on the rear confirming this device will be sporting a dual camera powered by Zeiss optics. It will be the first time a Nokia-branded Android device ship with Carl Zeiss optics.

The Nokia 8 is rumored to include a dual-camera setup with 13MP sensors and Carl Zeiss optics. The Nokia 8 is also expected to feature a 5.3” Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display and will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, dual-SIM support, and Android Nougat 7.1.1 operating system.
