The Star Wars franchise has been an enduring global phenomenon for almost half a century now, with many fans deeply invested in its lore. He stumbled upon a Sith secret that perhaps should have remained buried for all time – the entombed remains of Emperor Palpatine after 35 long years.

Many fans consider Palpatine’s return in The Rise of Skywalker to be one of the sequel trilogy’s shoddiest finales. However, recent Disney Plus shows like The Mandalorian have begun to lay the groundwork for Palpatine’s unlikely resurrection by alluding to Imperial cloning research – though this has never been officially depicted on screen.
