Porsche has unveiled its latest hypercar, the Mission X, which is an electric concept car that reinterprets hypercars. The design is reminiscent of the Porsche 918 Spyder with its compact structure and bubbly fenders but leans into chunkier corner details that extend to the roof. The battery’s strength is said to have a 900-volt system architecture that can charge twice as fast as the Taycan Turbo S. Porsche boasts that the Mission X has a power-to-weight ratio of one hp every 2.2lbs and is poised to be the fastest road-legal vehicle around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a distinction currently held by the Mercedes-AMG One. The hypercar features doors that sweep forward and up, making the car look like a scarab beetle when viewed from the front. The car is a two-seater with a short wheelbase of just 107.4 inches for aerodynamic purposes and has staggered tire sizes of 20-inch wheels in front and 21-inch ones in the back.
