The 2019 iPhone XI May Feature USB C Ports, iOS 13 Beta Update Reveals

Apple is all set to launch its new generation iPhones i.e. the 2019 iPhone XI. Today’s update is all about the 2019 iPhone edition that will come with a range of innovative features. Apple has been receiving feedback from the world’s users about the iPhone devices and their issues.

It seems like the company has revamped the charging section on the coming iPhones. A new report suggests that the upcoming iPhone i.e. iPhone XI will feature a USB C Port instead of a lightning port. Yes, the new generation iPhone will come with a USB C Port.

A user on Twitter has shared this information while testing the new iOS 13 Beta update on his iPhone device. He has shared a screenshot regarding this also. Check out the shared tweet from here.

The tweet’s screenshot shows a USB C cable pointing towards a PC to connect to the iTunes. USB C ports are far better than the current lightning ports.

Apple has already ditched the Lightning ports on its new generation Apple iPad devices with USB C ports. And this report is almost confirming that the new 2019 iPhones will come with USB C ports.

If we talk about the latest premium smartphones, most manufacturers have recently adopted the USB C Ports on their new generation premium smartphones. And now, Apple too is adopting the same on their future iPhones.

USB C port is compatible with numerous charging options and that’s why people will definitely welcome this new feature on the upcoming iPhones.

Apparently, the upcoming iPhones i.e. iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max and the successor edition of the iPhone XR will feature this USB C Port. The company is selling Lightning cable from third-party manufacturers which is a huge income source. We can expect from Apple to move its entire iPhone lineup to a USB C port in the future.

Well, this is just a report and there’s no official confirmation made by the giant as of now. We have to wait for the official iOS 13 update for more information about this new USB C port feature.
