Tecno Camon iAce and Camon iSky 2 Launched in India with AI Capabilities: Price, Specifications and More
Tecno mobile has today launched two new smartphones dubbed as Tecno Camon iAce and Tecno Camon iSky 2, in India. The main highlights of the budget-centric smartphones are FullView display, AI camera capabilities, and Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
Tecno Camon iAce and Camon iSky 2 Price and Availability
Tecno Camon iAce comes with the price tag of Rs. 6,799 and will be available to purchase across all major retail outlets in the country. It comes in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black and Midnight Blue colour options. On the other hand, Tecno Camon iSky 2 is priced at 7,499 and will be available to purchase starting from August 20. It will be made available in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Bordeaux Red color options.
As per the launch offers, the company is offering Rs. 2,200 cashback for Jio uses (in the form of cashback vouchers of Rs. 50 each) on recharge of Rs.198 and Rs.299. There is also a one-time screen replacement offer in one year, 100 days free replacement, and one month extended warranty.
Tecno Camon iAce and Camon iSky 2 Specifications
Both the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with company’s custom user interface HiOS on top. They sports a 5.5-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor coupled with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. They offer 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Tecno Camon iAce comes with a 13Mp camera on the back with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. On the other hand, Tecno Camon iSky 2 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and VGA secondary sensor with LED flash support. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The front camera of both the phones also equipped with facial recognition technology to unlock the device.
Both the smartphones are fuelled by a 3050mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, and micro-USB port. The Camon iSky 2 also has a fingerprint scanner on the back.
