Summit discusses advancements in AI, cloud computing | Visakhapatnam News

VISAKHAPATNAM: Artificial intelligence and cloud computing have become integral to every industry, serving as fundamental components in a wide array of solutions, said DeepTech Naipunya Foundation chairman and founder Sreedhar Kosaraju. The foundation, a non-profit (Sec 8 company) organisation, conducted the first of its kind DeepTech Summit, AI & Cloud Summit ’24 in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

Speaking at the summit, Sreedhar said that acknowledging the universal impact of AI and cloud computing, the summit brought together esteemed speakers from MNCs and high-tech companies like Microsoft, JP Morgan, Ericson, SAP, Capgemini, etc. from across the country and venture capitalists from Silicon Valley.

Vizag city police commissioner Dr Ravi Shankar spoke how technology can be leveraged to solve the pending cases. He also spoke about the changing cybercrime space and how AI-based technology can help in addressing these threats.

Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society CEO Anil Kumar Tentu spoke how AP government is according top priority to innovations and emerging technologies to drive the youth towards the future. IT Associatoin of Andhra Pradesh president Lakshmi Mukkavilli and STPI additional director Suresh Batha were also present at the programme.

This event was attended by 400+ participants from different industries, sectors, and organisations. More than 100 students have come from Vijayawada, Guntur, and Kakinada.

The speakers from diverse industries discussed the future strategies in deep tech innovation for the growth of the innovation ecosystem both in the mainstream industry and startups. The discussions also shed light on creating an emerging tech skilling ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh/Vizag.

From Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), IIM Visakhapatnam and IIT Tirupati to NASSCOM, IT Association of Andhra Pradesh, Centurion University, and AP Innovation Society, different academic, industrial, and government organisations have partnered for the deep tech summit.
