Steam Remote Play Together Beta Launched

Most popular games come with an online-play option allowing users to play the game with the real players across the world. No matter whether to play it on a PC, a gaming console or on a mobile device, you can simply make use of this online functionality to play the games with the real players.

However, some of the local multi-player games don’t support this functionality. The valve is testing a new Steam Remote Play Together Beta to fix this issue. Valve has officially launched the Steam Remote Play Together Beta for the beta users.

With this new Steam Remote Play, you will be able to play the same game as if like you are playing it from the same room even if you are miles away from that place.

Most online multiplayer games have the same functionality but this new Steam Remote Play Together lets players enjoy those games who are not supporting online multiplayer functionality. They will be able to play these games with the real players across the globe.

Using Valve’s Steam Remote Play Together Beta is quite simple. It doesn’t require any special setup or configuration. Interestingly, this player lets you play the game with just one purchase. Only one player needs to purchase the game while the other can play it through the Remote Play Together Beta.

Steam provides in-game overlay screen which mimics like the same game screen. The end recipient needs to accept the invite sent from the main player and that’s how the whole things work.

At present, this new feature will add up to four players to play the game simultaneously. But Valve has hinted that in the coming future, they will add more players to this functionality. This means, more than four players could play the game with this feature in the future.

The game will act as a gaming zone for the players. They can make use of the Keyboards, Mouse and other controllers as well as can make voice chat with the other players from the same environment.
