You’ll soon notice the ‘flirt’ dialogue option – choose this to continue raising their affinity level. Eventually they’ll give you a quest and become a follower when you’ve completed it. Once you’ve done this, the romance and sex options will open up. Having Starfield sex will give you a temporary XP boost, but it is possible to break their heart and call it quits, too. Unfortunately for Baldur’s Gate 3 fans, there are no detailed intimacy scenes in Starfield.
You’ll have to strike a fine balance between making your own decisions and capitulating to your romance partner’s principles – bad news if they don’t like Starfield pickpocketing or stealing Starfield food.
Can you have sex in Starfield?
You can have sex in Starfield, although this doesn’t take the form of an intimate cinematic. There are post-coitus voice lines:
