Spotting Xur in Destiny 2 and Reviewing his Stock

Are you on the hunt for Destiny 2’s elusive merchant, Xur? Look no further. Every weekend, Xur graces the game with his presence, offering up coveted Exotic gear in exchange for Legendary shards. However, casual players may find it difficult to decide on which items are worth purchasing from his ever-changing inventory. Fear not, for we’re here to guide you through the options.

Xur’s inventory provides excitement for all players, due to its unpredictability and the potential for a highly sought-after god roll. So, let’s delve into the world of Xur and discover more about his schedule, where he can typically be found, and what’s available in his inventory.

From June 9th to 12th, Xur can be located in the Watcher’s Grave on Nessus. This week, players can get their hands on the Graviton Lance, a versatile and fun Exotic weapon that’s useful in most activities, including PvP and PvE. Additionally, Xur is offering up a selection of Exotic armor pieces, each costing 23 Legendary shards.

Hunters can snag the Orpheus Rig gauntlets, granting Deadfall and Moebus Quiver energy. On the other hand, Titians can grab the Crest of Alpha Lupi leg armor, which offers more Orbs from Supers and a healing barricade. Warlocks can get Claws of Ahamkara chest armor, which grants an additional melee charge.

As well as these armor pieces, Xur is currently selling Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale. Both weapons are available for 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary shards, one Exotic Cipher, and one Ascendant Shard. Hawkmoon comes with the Killing Wind perk and Dead Man’s Tale has the Fourth Time’s the Charm perk.

For 50 Legendary shards and 1000 Glimmer each, players can purchase various Legendary items from Xur. This week’s options include the Cold Denial pulse rifle, Tears of Contrition scout rifle, Brass Attacks sidearm, Cartesian Coordinate fusion rifle, and the Seventh Seraph CQC-12 shotgun. Keep an eye out for the Gnawing Hunger auto rifle, which boasts a Zen Moment/Rampage roll, making it particularly strong.

Xur also sells an Exotic Cipher quest, called the Xenology Exotic Quest. This bounty requires players to complete specific tasks, such as Strikes or Gambit matches, in exchange for the ability to purchase an additional Exotic Engram from Xur.

So, who exactly is Xur? Also known as the Agent of the Nine, he’s a mysterious Jovian merchant who appears in different locations every week to sell rare gear to Guardians. While not much is known about him, he claims to have no agency and is merely a servant of the Nine.

To ensure you don’t miss out on Xur’s latest offerings, he appears every Friday at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, staying until Tuesday’s Destiny 2 weekly reset. As Xur’s location isn’t marked on the map, you’ll need to track him down in one of three spots – the Hangar in the Tower, Winding Cove in EDZ, or Watcher’s Grave on Nessus.

Remember, Xur’s inventory changes every week, but certain items such as Exotic engrams, Exotic weapons, and Legendary weapons and armor, remain consistent. Happy hunting Guardian!
