At an event held in Barcelona at MWC 2019, Sony has unveiled its new smartphone called Sony Xperia L3 along with Sony Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus and Xperia 1 smartphones. Sony Xperia L3 has some features similar to that of Sony Xperia 10 but overall this is another mid-range smartphone by Sony. This smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor.
Sony Xperia L3: Specifications
As mentioned earlier, Sony Xperia L3 has some features similar to that of Xperia 10, but overall it is the cheapest among these three phones. Xperia L3 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1280 pixels) resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio which is slightly lower than others in the list. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset coupled with eight Cortex-A53 cores. In addition, it comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be extended via a MicroSD card.
Furthermore, Sony Xperia L3 sports a dual camera setup at the back out of which one is 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera has some features enabled in it including bokeh effect, hybrid autofocus, and 4x digital zoom. At the front, Xperia L3 sports the same 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Apart from this, Sony Xperia L3 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. This phone has the same connectivity options as that of Xperia 10 which includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The sensors integrated into the Sony Xperia L3 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, eCompass, hall sensor, magnetometer, step counter, step detector, significant motion detector, and proximity sensor. Also, Sony Xperia 10 packs a 3,300 mAh battery.
Sony Xperia L3: Price and Availability
The price of Sony Xperia L3 hasn’t been announced by Sony until now but will be available in Black, Gold, and Silver color variants. However, Xperia L3 will be available from February 25 in some of the selected markets around the globe.
