NEW DELHI: Sony has launched the fourth generation of its wireless noise-canceling headphones in India. Dubbed Sony WH-1000XM4, the headphones come with a price tag of Rs 29,990 and can be purchased in Black colour. The wireless headphones will be available online on Amazon.in and shopatsc.com and offline on Sony exclusive stores.
The Sony WH-1000XM4 noise cancelling headphones feature two microphones on each earcup. The Dual Noise Sensor technology of the headphones manage to capture ambient noise and passes the data to the HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1. There’s a new Bluetooth Audio chip that senses music and noise at over 700 times per second. Using a new algorithm, the HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1 applies noise canceling processing in real time
The headphones come with a new and interesting feature called Speak-to-chat. This feature enables users to have short conversations without taking off their headphones. By simply saying something, the headphones will recognise the user’s voice and automatically stop the music to let in ambient sound so they can conduct a conversation.
Along with this, the new wireless headphones also come with a feature called quick attention which makes it easier to tune in for an announcement or say something briefly by simply placing the right hand over the ear cup to decrease the volume and let in ambient sound.
The Sony WH-1000XM4 features new Precise Voice Pickup technology which controls five microphones in the headphones optimally, and performs advanced audio signal processing to pick up voice clearly for hands-free calls.Sony WH-1000XM4 also comes with 360 Reality Audio which works with Android or iPhone over supported music streaming apps. Lastly, the headphones also promise to offer long lasting battery life. The company claims that these new wireless noise cancelling headphones can deliver 30 hours of battery backup on single charge.
