Snapchat plans to Integrate your Bitmoji into Games

Snapchat is planning to integrate Bitmoji into Games to use them as your 3D character in the game.TechCrunch, first reports that the new Bitmoji for Games SDK will work with games that are built in Unity, the Unreal Engine, and Snap’s in-house PlayCanvas engine. Not only this but also, this Bitmoji SDK will be free for developers selected by the Snapchat.

Although this is the first time that Snapchat is sharing its Bitmojis on different platforms, other developers in this field had already tried this functionality. The Nintendo Wii introduced the concept of Miis, from which the characters of this game appears across the Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS, and Switch. Also, Microsoft has also pushed some of its Xbox Avatars in different games in Xbox 360 series.

To make this Bitmoji functionality work perfectly, one has to scan an in-game code in the Snapchat app to link the game with your Snapchat account. Snap is planning to make this functionality supported on cross-platform like on PC, consoles, and mobile.
