Sims 4 is one of the most popular open-world Role-Playing simulation game available on consoles and PC. On April 16, a new update has been pushed by the developers for consoles version. This update for Sims 4 brings mouse and keyboard support to the game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
Electronic Arts are not the first one to bring mouse and keyboard support for its games on consoles, there is a pretty good lineup of game developers who added keyboard and mouse support to their games on consoles. This is because most of the PC gamers who switch to consoles and even consoles players rely upon mouse and keyboards controls instead of controllers. And now, the Sims 4’s new support for these devices made it easier for players to accommodate their best-suited controls options.
Both of the consoles i.e, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have the keyboard and mouse support and have separate ports for them also. However, both of these companies leave the last decision to the developers of the game to either allow players to connect keyboard and mouse or not. And nowadays, many of the developers are turning around to implement this support in their game too.
EA updated these details on its website after pushing the latest update to the consoles. So, after you install the latest update to your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 console, you can easily connect your keyboard and mouse to your system and can start playing. You can also set the sensitivity of the controllers from the device menu. So, if you wanna play the Sims 4 with mouse and keyboard controls, just plug your devices to the ports and start playing.
