Sharp, Japanese smartphones manufacturer is also working on its first foldable phone and interestingly, its new foldable prototype device is surfaced in a video.

According to a video by OLED-info, this new clamshell prototype looks amazing in with a wide notch display. This phone uses flexible OLED display technology similar to other foldable phones in the market. This device folds inward right from the middle making it durable and protects the screen from scratches. Due to its inward movement, the chances of display damage from sudden fall also decreases.

Apart from this, the company promises that this phone is capable enough to withstand at least 300,000 folding cycles which is quite promising. As of now, the company is on the way to commercialize these prototype in the coming years. However, in the coming years, there will be a great competition between the manufacturers to make the best foldable smartphone.
