Second Galaxy Watch Ultra software update rolling out worldwide

Samsung’s most pro-grade, feature-packed, and expensive smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, received its first software update in late July. That update was seemingly released in only a few markets, and a week ago, it was followed by another update.

That second update was initially available in the US, but now, it is rolling out in many other countries. Users from Europe and Asia have confirmed that they got the update on their Watch Ultras this week.

The 175 MB update comes with the build number L705FXXU1AXG2, and the changelog highlights improvements to battery charging and battery stability. Overall device stability has been improved as well.

The wider release of the update likely coincides with the Galaxy Watch Ultra becoming more readily available around the world. While the official release date was July 24, Galaxy Watch Ultra orders were delayed by as much as two months in some markets.

However, Samsung appears to have sorted out the stock issues. In most major markets, the company is delivering orders on the expected schedule. In some locations, Galaxy Watch Ultra deliveries are being made in just 24 hours.
